Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Stretch Of I-270 In Maryland (Developing)

Maryland State Police troopers are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that shut down all northbound lanes of I-270 on Monday morning in Frederick County.

First responders were called early on Monday to a stretch of the interstate that left at least five people with undisclosed injuries.

Each was taken to an area hospital.

The crash also led to temporary closures in the southbound lanes.

Details about the crash have not been released by state police.
